Sunbury, PA #323

Sunbury PA Silsby engine No. 232, an 1870 3rd. size was one of two, 3rd. size engines once owned by the Sunbury Fire Dept. This engine today resided in the William Penn Museum in Harrisburg. Over many years in service this engine was greatly modified so that the only thing saying model of 1869-74 is the straight frame. The modifications include a foot brake, round feed water tank, later model seat, and electric lights.
