This beautiful old engine is about
to undergo restoration It is one of a limited number of larger
Silsby engines which still exist and of fewer still that still
exhibit much of her original paint and decoration. Hopefully the
restoration will preserve this. Note should be taken of the spoked
steel wheels which were characteristic of many old Silsby engines.
Unlike some old wheels these never had a rubber coating of any
kind.
