The Percheron a regal breed dating back to 18th. century France

Many beautiful teams of horses have pulled the steamer over the years. Once the most numerous draft horse in the US, the PERCHERON has never been surpassed. The first percherons to pull the engine in recent years was a magnificent pair of dapple greys in splendid harness which were matched with it at Genesee Village Museum in North Western New York State.
